I have studied hard on this line as this very verse is also an important key to find the date of the rapture
No sun or moon-eclipse is "scheduled" for the coming years, so there must be another reason
that will cause the sun, moon and stars to be darkened at a certain point in time

The object that is being referred to nowadays is one of the biggest yet most close passing by comet [NEO].
It has been calculated that comet will pass the earth by at a distance of 3x the distance between the Earth and the moon
I have got a confirmation that the tail of this comet might produce the effect that is being written in Rev 8:12
