The future of Computing.... is
visible in the very computing device you are currently using..... The very
TCP/IP - InterNet-protocol is an emulation. The future of computing is,
according to me the partially/full emulation of a device, i.e. gimmic*-ing
a function, and in doing so, upgrading the performance, thus improving
the process being emulated..... So according to my vision you will see
when talking about CPU's, an enourmous increase of speed, but not an enourmous
increase of functions.... More RISCa, less CISCb. But with the increase
of speed[aprox. 500Mhz as a standard model.....] emulation will be the
perfect algorithm for the processor, whether it will be Intel, Motorola
or even Philips (Hi! from Holland).... Even a RISC emulating a CISC processor
will be the Standard.... Why ? because of good, old compatibility and interchangebility.
A clear example is the InterNet itself, originally the system was a UNIX-based
system, did anyone noticed ???
